Where are you located?
You can find us at 175 Route 137 in East Harwich, near the intersection of Rte. 39. Our store is in the same shopping plaza as Dunkin' Donuts, across from the Cape Cod Auto Mall. Stop in for a visit on your weekly grocery run to Stop and Shop. Clothing changes with the seasons and we get new items every week.
What are your consigning hours?
We accept items for consignment on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. All Consignment Guidelines must be followed.(See the "How to Consign" page for more details!)
Do you have any coupons?
Yes! Every time you make a purchase in our shop, you will receive one of our "Comeback Bucks," which never expire. The amount of the coupon is based on a percentage of your purchase.

Can I consign shoes and handbags?
Yes! They must be in excellent condition and cleaned both inside and out. What really sells are designer shoes and boots that are gently worn or out-of-the box never worn. Our selections have always been big sellers, especially when they include that little, original, cloth storage bag, so popular with well-made shoes (Cole Hahn) and bags (Coach). Save them! Remember...fakes are a felony! They must be authentic!
What items are you taking today?
We accept seasonal clothing and accessories on the following dates: Spring/Summer: Jan. 1-July 15, Fall/Winter: August 1-Dec 15, Holiday: November Only
Do I need to have clothes dry-cleaned and pressed?
Prepare your clothes for consignment as if you were walking into a store and hanging them on the racks READY TO SELL. Dry-cleaning is not required, but clothes must be freshly cleaned, pressed and on hangers to be accepted for consignment. You will be charged $1 per item for any garments that do require steaming or de-linting by us.
How do I receive the money I make from consignment?
You may stop in the store any time to pick up a check for the amount you have earned or you may use your money earned to make purchases. For security purposes, picture identification (drivers license or photo id) is required for verification.
What happens to items I consign that dont sell?
Expired merchandise becomes the property of Consigning Women, and may be sold or donated. If you wish to reclaim your unsold items, you may do so during the designated dates on your contract. You must call one day in advance so that we will have your items ready. You may not pull your own items from the sales floor.
Do you accept mens and childrens clothing?
Sorry, no. We narrowed our niche to womens clothing and accessories because of our customers' preferences on Cape Cod. We are better able to provide the shopping experience that our clients desire by offering quality, better and designer brand clothing.
Why do you not accept jewelry on consignment? I have lovely pearls to sell.
At Consigning Women, we sell brand new jewelry to accessorize your look for less. We stock the latest necklaces, bracelets, earrings and pins so you can update your classic wardrobe in the newest fashion trends of the season with just a few baubles.
